On 14 and 15 April did ControlUnion (an independent certification auditor)  an audit for EWS Pestcontrol in accordance with the certification requirements of IPM rat, KPMB (quality mark for pest management) and CEPA (CEN Standard EN 16636).

Due to the restrictions imposed by RIVM because of COVID-19, the audit could be only performed in the Netherlands due with observance of the  RIVM guidelines. The location in Belgium will be audited in the same way later this year. All standards include pest control requirements. This includes making an inventory of pest risks, taking appropriate protection measures and following IPM guidelines (Integrated Pest Management).

Only companies that demonstrably meet the high standards deserve the quality mark. This will give EWS customers more guarantees regarding the quality and reliability of the provided services. The auditor of the relevant CB expressed appreciation for the professional manner in which employees of EWS Pestcontrol perform their daily activities. “The way in which EWS Pestcontrol served its customer first, testifies to an actual partnership”, says the auditor. EWS Pestcontrol appoints the same specialist to the customer so that problems can be detected and eliminated faster. A pest risk assessment (PRA) is a standard part of inspection and treatment. The PRA exposes the pest problems and determines strategy to a quick pest-free environment. There were no imperfections found during the audit.

EWS Group has already received the certificates IPM Rat 4.0 , KPMB 1.2 and CEPA (EN 16636)
