Flour fumigation

Fumigating flour is done with phosphine gas. The raw material of flour, wheat, is often already treated against stock destroying species before it is processed into the final product. EWS can fumigate flour to ensure that all stock destroying species are neutralised.

The source of contaminations are sometimes also determined to be located in the processing line itself, for instance in the machines used to process the goods. EWS can then fumigate your entire flour factory. For this purpose, our Fumigation Experts use the gas sulfuryl fluoride (SO2F2).
